the questions every woman must ask herself

Women take care of everyone and everything in the family, and often end up neglecting themselves. Ask yourself the following questions, and if the answer is a ‘NO’, work to change it into a ‘YES.’ Yes, you can—and you must!

Are you eating a healthy diet?

A healthy diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains can help women maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

Are you eating on time?

Often women ignore their meals. They eat after everyone else in the family. Don’t do that. Eating on time is as important for you as it is for everyone else in the family.

Are you exercising regularly?

Regular physical activity can help women maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and improve their overall health. Make sure that you take out some time every day for your physical activity. Besides keeping you healthy, it will make you happy.

Are you getting enough sleep?

Adequate sleep is essential for maintaining good health. Women should aim to get at least seven hours of sleep each night. If you are not getting enough sleep, do prioritise it.

Are you managing your stress?

Knowingly and unknowingly, women undergo a lot of physical, mental, and emotional stress. Learn how to manage stress through techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and deep breathing.

Are you practicing safe sex?

Unsafe sex can lead to unwanted pregnancies which can adversely impact your health. Use protection during sexual activity to prevent sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies.

Are you going for regular check-ups?

Women should visit their healthcare provider for regular check-ups and screening tests, including Pap smears, mammograms, and blood pressure checks. You should receive recommended vaccines, including the HPV vaccine, to protect against infections.

And in case you are facing any health issue, seek medical attention.
